What's new in Lugor: July 2026

June was a busy month on the product side. The block library expands significantly, the editor gains layout freedom, and the core platform moves forward on three fronts at once: speed, accessibility and security.

Here are the highlights of the most impactful Lugor platform updates delivered for July.

Among the main developments, Lugor gains:

  • Four new components to showcase your content even better
  • Checks and reinforcements, to offer you a platform that keeps improving in performance, compliance and security
  • One of the richest and most complete MCP implementations in the website creation market, a real differentiator for your business and your clients.

1. Four new blocks to compose your pages

The layout palette grows with four blocks designed for concrete use cases.

  1. Bento: a mosaic of tiles in varying sizes, with ready-to-use layout recipes and several tile types (statistic, quote, dominant image, article). Ideal for a lively home page.
  2. Table: polished data tables and pricing comparison matrices, with a monthly or annual toggle, a highlighted column and help tooltips. Also available as side-by-side cards.
  3. Spotlight: a list of features linked to a detail panel, either pinned while scrolling or interactive on click. Perfect for presenting a product.
  4. Progression: a timeline of steps to tell a journey or a process, in a horizontal, vertical or spine layout, with an action button per step.

Your existing blocks also gain layout freedom: fully clickable cards, full-bleed media, click-to-enlarge images, anchor links to a section, per-card alignment and new visual styles available on more blocks.

2. A faster, more accessible, safer site

The month's groundwork focuses on quality, both the kind you can measure and the kind you can feel.

Faster: pages load lighter (visual styles downloaded on demand, images in modern formats, internal navigation without a full reload). Better Core Web Vitals as a result.

More accessible: stronger compliance at the most demanding level (WCAG 2.2), full keyboard navigation, labels in the site's language, and an automatic check that prevents any regression.

Safer: tighter role-based access, an audit log of actions, encrypted webhooks and continuous monitoring of dependencies.

3. Lugor sites are at the cutting edge of agentic workflows: run them with AI in a controlled, efficient way

This is probably Lugor's most striking difference. Where most platforms make you do everything by hand, Lugor is built to be driven by an AI assistant, from creating an entire page to updating a single block. This month, that integration takes a step forward.

  1. Automatic discovery: a connected assistant recognizes your site and reads the real catalog of your blocks, with their variants, possible values and styles. It builds correctly the first time, without guessing.
  2. Standardized connection: the integration relies on an open, recognized protocol, compatible with the leading assistants on the market.
  3. Always under control: every action stays strictly bounded by the permissions granted. A read-only assistant never sees the editing tools.
  4. Full traceability: session openings, views and edits are all recorded in an audit log. You always know what was done, by whom and when.

In practice, you describe the page you want, the assistant builds it with your blocks and your brand guidelines, and you stay in control at every step.

In conclusion

The July release broadens what you can build with Lugor, makes your sites faster, more accessible and safer, and confirms a head start: a site you can entrust to an AI assistant, with full control. Stay tuned for next month's updates: Lugor is going up another level to offer a way to build sites that can rival the most beautiful of the moment, without ever touching code. (I'm really looking forward to sharing the next release, which I'm testing right now.)
